My fear is project 2025 knew exactly what it was doing. It knew they’d be stopped at some point but they already have much of what they want - our data - that’s why Elon went in asap and didn’t come out. It’s like the robbed the bank and knew they’d get caught eventually but until then… party! I pray some government folks saw this coming and already preserved our “government docs” somewhere safe.
Thanks for putting pen to (virtual) paper. #4 worries me too. I wonder if polite demonstrations in front of key tech companies would be helpful. It might not sway top management, but might make the employees think deeply…
Could work. Although if they move to working with a small tight in-group who is ideologically MAGA, like the DOGE kids, I don't think it would.
Somethings I'm hoping will happen though is that the dem turnout will be so huge, that it will be hard to fight it. I also hope that the 2028 dem candidate will have a steering social media presence and go on podcasts and stuff so that the people in the middle(who are not MAGA) can be reached. And once we have power, it will become super important to put in the checks and balances required to prevent this in the future 🤞
